Meet the local wildlife at the British Wildlife Centre

The British Wildlife Centre is a zoo in the hamlet of Newchapel near Lingfield village in the county of Surrey, South East England.

Founded in 1997, this wildlife centre started as a zoo which was converted by a dairy farmer David Mills.

For all animal and nature lovers, you’ll love meeting the centre’s residents which include over 40 species of British wildlife.

On your travels around the centre, you might just spot red deer, roe deer, otters, badgers, weasels, Scottish wildcats and more.

How can I get there from Crowne Plaza Felbridge?

It takes less than 10 minutes (2.7 miles) to reach the centre from our hotel via the A22.
